Rosoboronexport Presents 32V01 Remote-controlled Weapon Station (RCWS)

Russian state arms export company Rosoboronexport demonstrates a powerful remote-controlled weapon station – named 32V01. It is manufactured by JSC CRI Central Scientific Research Institute Burevestnik. The remote-controlled weapon station is armed with a 2A42 30mm autocannon, a 7.62 mm coaxial machine gun and smoke grenades on each side. Other weapons such as 12.7mm can also be replaced according to the task. The RCWS can be installed on any combat vehicle, tracked or wheeled. It can engage all types of targets including armoured materiel, due to a fully automatic stabilized gun and modern fire control system. The Russian Airborne Force Typhoon-VDV K-4386 Mine-Protected Armoured Vehicle adopts the 32V01 emote-controlled Weapon Station.

The 32V01 remote-controlled weapon station is designed for engagement of enemy personnel (wearing individual body armor), firing assets and unarmored/ lightly armored equipment; reconnaissance and target recognition, surveillance over the environment. When integrated on armored combat vehicles, the Turret acts as the main armament system. Benefits of the Turret integrated on a combat vehicle increase in combat effectiveness due to use of the weapon system with a modern Fire Control System; firing ammunitions with controlled remote detonation (option). Better crew protection due to the crew seats are inside the armored hull (outside the combat module) and ammunitions are outside the crew compartment.

JSC CRI Central Scientific Research Institute Burevestnik is a Russian arms industry company based in Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia. It is part of Uralvagonzavod.
