Caitlin Clark’s Boyfriend Gives Tyrese Haliburton Company as Indiana Fever Looks to Worsen LA Sparks Distressing WNBA Season.

Ever since the Indiana Fever’s performance surged, several renowned figures have been spotted in the audience. Simone Biles and Gabby Thomas to name a recent duo. But Indiana Pacers’ star Tyrese Haliburton remains a standout. While others come for a match or two, Haliburton participates often.

Even today, he’s at Gainbridge Fieldhouse to witness Caitlin Clark’s dominance on the court. But this time, he’s not alone.

For the September 4th game against the Los Angeles Sparks who stand with a poor 7-25 record, Haliburton was captured on camera in the audience alongside Clark’s boyfriend, Connor McCaffery. To share the news with spectators, the WNBA posted on X, “The Fever’s biggest fan is back @Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton sits courtside in Gainbridge to watch the Indiana Fever host the LA Sparks!

McCaffrey joined the Indiana Pacers staff just last season and has been a great help to Clark with her transition to the state. “I couldn’t imagine a better place to start my professional career,” the rookie had said. And well, with the visible courtside support and the well-faring team, she wouldn’t go back on that.

McCaffery may have been among the audience several times, but today may just be the best of games to witness so far. With Indiana Fever making the playoffs just hours before the contest, Clark took to the court to record her 100th career 3-pointer (fastest to do so) in the 3rd quarter and make a post up seconds later. That would mean 5 points in 13 seconds for the rookie.

The 55-60 lead with that, only helped build the pressure on the Sparks who have been struggling this season. But the visiting team ensured not to let the Fever widen the gap.

Fever triumph the tough battle versus Sparks

Over the last two games played between these teams, the Sparks and Fever have tied with one win each. The Fever secured a 78-73 win against the Sparks in the May 25th showdown, while the opponent team emerged victorious 88-82 a few days later on May 29th. Clearly, this game wasn’t expected to be a smooth sail.

In 23 minutes of gameplay, Clark, with an average of 18.7 points per game, stood at 9 points and 6 assists. Her team, on the other hand, went toe-to-toe with the opponent, with the scoreboard reading 55 each. It was then that Clark gave the lead back to the Fever, but the back-and-forth went about the whole game, with the highest difference seemingly only limited to 8 points.

86-93 in their favor, the Fever recorded their fifth consecutive win after a loss to the Minnesota Lynx. Since returning from the Olympic break, the Fever have won seven of their last eight games. Will Christie Sides’ Indiana Fever roster be able to maintain the momentum in their first postseason since 2016?
