After hearing his closest buddy lament about DJ Khaled’s opulent Miami house, Rick Ross is prepared to shell out $37 million to purchase it.

Rick Ross is set to make waves in the real estate world with his impending purchase of a lavish nine-bedroom property on Miami’s exclusive Star Island for upwards of $37 million. According to the Wall Street Journal, this island has been home to numerous celebrities over the years, including Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Shaquille O’Neal, and Gloria Estefan. Adding to the island’s allure, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez bought a 10-bedroom estate there in 2020.

Rick Ross, now 47, who grew up in the same Miami suburb as Flo Rida, is reportedly planning to completely renovate his new opulent home after spending millions to acquire it. The property, spanning roughly 40,000 square feet, boasts luxurious amenities such as six bathrooms, a summer kitchen, and a heated pool. The ultra-luxurious waterfront house also features a small wooden harbor in the backyard, providing direct access to the ocean.

Once he moves in, Rick will be able to enjoy the numerous luxuries, including an entertainment area. According to reports, the rapper from “Money In The Grave” is set to close on the estate, which went on the market in May.

In addition to his Star Island purchase, Rick Ross has a history of notable real estate investments. Roughly two years ago, he bought the Miami residence of former NBA player Amar’e Stoudemire for $3.5 million, according to Architectural Digest. More recently, he paid Meek Mill $4.2 million for his Atlanta property, as reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Rick’s fascination with homes dates back to his early success as a rapper. In a 2021 interview, he recalled his frequent visits to Atlanta, saying, “Homes were something I was always fascinated about, so me and my homies started coming up to Atlanta.” He described his initial million-dollar home purchase in Atlanta, made simply out of curiosity and to ride by it every day as a reminder of his success.

Rick Ross’s crowning real estate achievement remains his eye-watering 109-room mansion in Georgia, purchased from Evander Holyfield, which he has named “The Promise Land.” This sprawling estate is a testament to his impressive real estate portfolio and enduring success in both music and business.
