Gervonta Davis added a 29th knockout to undefeated record last night in Las Vegas, dispatching of a game Frank Martin in the eighth round to retain his WBA Lightweight World Title.
‘Tank’ gave away rounds to the elusive Martin to kick off the contest, but steadily upped his output as the fight progressed. After finding some success at pinning ‘The Ghost’ down in round seven, Davis came out in the eighth and had his man in the corner.
