The renowned “WETHEBEST” logo-adorned floor of the music producer’s 500+ sneaker collection is located in the Aventura property at 3914 Island Estates. Unfortunately, DJ Khaled’s renowned sneaker collection isn’t included because this was his previous residence.
The sellers are Melissa Granda and Nahim Jorge Bonilla, the creators of Ruido Callejero Music and music executives and restaurateurs. The pair also owns the celebrity-friendly restaurant Mandrake Miami, which has served Olivia Culpo, Diddy, and Bad Bunny among its patrons.
Together with a third partner, Bonilla and Granda paid $4.8 million for the house in 2020. The pair were quiet companions at the time. Simon Librati, a troubled Canadian trader, was the third investor who they eventually bought out.
After purchasing the Mediterranean-style property in 2015 for $3.84 million, Khaled invested about $2.5 million in improvements, which included building out the 1,000-square-foot shoe closet. Many of Khaled’s other plans, which include those for the outside patio, movie theater, and master bedroom, reportedly still stand.
Situated on half an acre, the five-bedroom, seven-bathroom property has a wine room and a chef’s kitchen. A 128-inch TV is included with that movie theater.
The smart-wired mansion also features 30-foot ceilings, a fireplace, and floors made of walnut and marble. With views of the city and the water, the 240 feet of beachfront feature a 50-foot boat dock, a fire pit, a pool, and a bamboo grove.
