When being a big black and white puppy, makes hiding from others difficult, but what would a 2-year-old puppy do, she had no other option.Fergie,snuggled up beneath a mat of weeds and she clearly was waiting for someone to find her because she had been abandoned in the woods and was unsecure of her surroundings

But after some time,a kind person passing by noticed the puppy in time and alerted the Stray Rescue team for further assistance.

When the team member met with Fergie,Fergie wasn’t sure how to feel about her rescuer because she was on her own for quite a time. she was unsure about Lochmann’s(rescuer) reliability at the time. The terrified pup then got to his feet and began growling at Lochmann.

The rescuer, Lochmann then realized that something isn’t right.She noticed something stranged that Fergie the puppy was not using her front right leg and was clearly injured.

The rescuer then set a trap and tried to catch the dog.She put some fresh fried chicken infront of her and put some of her traps.But it failed.

However, Fergie was not spotted at the same location in the weeds when the rescuer came back to check on her.She had found her way to an abandoned home nearby and had taken up residence along its foundation.

But after sometime,Lochmann secured her safety somehow and took the dog to the vet.And she was slowly recovering from the nightmare and ate her first meal.

Although Fergie still has a long way to go before she can find a forever home, the lucky dog is exactly where she needs to be to recover. Fergie is anticipated to make a full recovery with a ton of love.
