The trial at the Queens District Court, New York regarding the altercation between rapper Cardi B and sisters Jade and Baddie Gi could not take place. Cardi B was absent without a reason, in court only her lawyer – Jeff Kern appeared.

“I want you to convey to her that it is unacceptable that she is not here today,” judge Sean Dunn told Cardi B’s lawyer. The judge said Cardi B could be arrested if She did not come to court for the hearing this Friday, or continued to be absent without a reason.

Attorney Jeff Kern responded: he does not know Cardi B’s schedule because he has not worked directly with the female rapper but only through her managers. When asked if Cardi B would appear at the trial next Friday, attorney Jeff Kern only said “maybe she will.”
